Today we have one movie invitation for you. How to find a permanent love in today’s world? The answer to this question is what the heroes of the new romantic comedy “What’s Love Got to Do with It?“, from the producers of the successful films Love Actually and Bridget Jones’s Diary, are trying to find. A number of Indian and Pakistani filmmakers have contributed to the film and Bombay Express has partnered with the film’s release in Czech republic.
Dating apps for documentary filmmaker Zoe (Lily James) have yielded nothing but a few embarrassing stories of failed dates. This much to the dismay of her opinionated and perpetually sarcastic mother Cath (Emma Thompson). For Zoe, it’s childhood friend Kazim (Shazad Latif) who, inspired by his parents, chooses the path of an arranged marriage. Zoe takes a documentary camera and sets off with Kazim to visit his parents’ chosen bride in Lahore, Pakistan. There she begins to realise that she might learn something from the different approach of finding love.
