Operational changes in the Bombay Express App

Good afternoon, we have some important information for you regarding how the Bombay Express App works. For operational reasons, we have decided to adjust the prices and conditions of our delivery as follows from December 13:

– the minum order amount will increase from 250 Kč to 350 Kč
– the value of the order for free delivery will change from the current 500 Kč to 650 Kč
– if your delivery order will be 350 – 649 Kč, we will charge 25 Kč/km for delivery in Prague (currently it is 10 Kč/km)
– the maximum charge for the delivery costs will be set to 99 Kč
– in Prague,  cash or meal voucher payments will only be available for eat in and takeaway orders, not for delivery; in Pilsen the possibility will yet remain.

In Prague, we have decided to partner with Wolt Drive for the delivery of our orders. You will place your order as you are used to directly in the app (or its web version). Availability of actual transport service (Wolt Drive courier or Bombay courier) will vary according to the current capacity of the particular branch. The specific type of transport will be assigned to your order automatically. In case of delivery with Wolt, after placing your order, you will receive a tracking link from Wolt in your email and SMS. We expect faster delivery of your orders from cooperation with Wolt Drive.

The terms and conditions for ordering via the app to eat in branch or takeaway will remain the same, as will the conditions for collecting loyalty credits.

The change also applies to delivery zones. Thanks to the cooperation with Wolt Drive, we will resume delivery in the Quadrio zone. At the same time we are unfortunately forced to reduce the Chodov and Butovice delivery zones in some of their existing peripheral parts to match the Wolt delivery zone. Our other delivery zones remain unchanged. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. In the future, however, we actually plan to expand some zones thanks to Wolt. The above changes will be effective from 13 December.
